NYC TARTAN WEEK (April 6th -11th)

The 23rd Annual NYC Tartan Week Celebrations (Virtual)

The official NYC Tartan Week Celebration kicks off on April 5th with a wide variety of virtual session to enjoy.

Expect presentations from National Trust for Scotland, American Scottish Foundation, Johnnie Walker and many more.

The Caledonian Club is delighted to invite the Scots in London community to our virtual talk on Thursday 8th April with Maxwell Macleod, former President of the Sir Walter Scott Club of Edinburgh.

The Caledonian Club has organised a programme of special events to celebrate Walter Scott’s 250th anniversary. In this, the first of the series, Sir Maxwell Macleod will explore the ways in which the character of Scott can be glimpsed through his relationships with others. Details attached.

Trees 4 Two Nations 10th Year Celebration (April 10th)

Join the 10th year anniversary!

In the spring of 2011, The USA and Scotland planted 4 trees together in celebration of friendship. Two trees were planted at the Knoxville Botanical Gardens, Knoxville TN USA and two trees were planted at the Royal Botanical Gardens Edinburgh Scotland UK. The trees will be 10 years old in 2021.

Join special guest speaker Jim Cortese on Saturday, April 10th, 2021 at 10:00 am, Knoxville Botanical Garden & Arboretum.


SSAS Tartan Day 2021 – Virtual Clans Event (April 11th)

The Scottish St. Andrew Society of Greater St. Louis Virtual Clans Event will be held on Sunday, April 11, 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm.

We have an exciting virtual event scheduled for Tartan Day! This event will have various Missouri Clan Leaders present to tell you all about the history of their Clan and answer your questions directly.

Whether you are you part of a Clan? Or have you always wondered about Scottish Clans and how they came to be? We’d love to have you attend!

A two-day virtual festival and conference that celebrates the cultural excellence of the Scottish diaspora as well as the unique relationship of Scotland and the United States.
